JOT Automation Group will deliver production automation worth FIM 200 million to Nokia

JOT Automation Group Oyj has signed an agreement with Nokia on delivery of production automation. The total value of the deal is approximately FIM 200 million. Deliveries are scheduled to take place during the following 12 months.

"This significant deal strengthens JOT's position as a systems integrator for production automation. Deliveries to Nokia will include products from all of our four product groups, and JOT's latest automation technology will be applied in final assembly and testing of Nokia's products, "says president Jorma Terentjeff.

During the last 12 months JOT Automation Group has received new orders for worth over FIM 500 million.

JOT Automation Group is specialized in the manufacturing and marketing of production automation for the electronics industry. JOT's product groups consist of products and systems for the four production segments of electronics industry: PCB handling, testing, manual and automatic assembly. The Group has subsidiaries in seven countries and a complementary global sales and service network. The Group employs 370 people and the net sales during the first six months in 1998 were FIM 168 million. The net sales in fiscal year 1997 were FIM 183 million.
